The Un-Broker: Real Estate 1 Realtionship at a Time.
Thomas C. Demsker here, The Un-Broker. As an Associate Broker for Prudential Douglas Elliman and creator of Un-Broker.com, I have put together a blog to help consumers with useful tidbits and insights about NYC Real Estate. This blog is done for the purpose of giving/helping consumers get the most out of NYC Real Estate. Based on my previous experiences as a consumer of Real Estate, I realized the public needed a new approach from their real estate professionals and the Un-Broker was born.

View Article  Why would a seller hire someone that uses cheap pictures?

You're selling your space, no matter what the price is, you should have great photographs taken by a professional.  Why do some many people have such horrible pictures taken from a broker's shitty 3 megapixel camera.  They're paying for a service yet they they have no problem with such cheap pictures.

That is your first line to meet the potential customers, an interview so to speak.  Poor quality resonates with savy buyers in an even market.  It moves them past your listing to other visually appealing stuff.  Also I believe it creates a short psychology that people sub-consciously associate a certain cheapness with the listing.

Finally I say why be so cheap when you have the opportunity to blessed with a listing.  Taking it all the way and do more than expected.  A sure way to make everyone happy.
